PRESIDENT & EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

After 15+ years of protecting intellectual property for international 501(c)(6) non-profits, Mr. Watts left the corporate world to found Community Coins in the Summer of 2025. In addition to his love of Charlottesville and his passion for helping others, he brings a substantial amount of experience in leadership, compliance, and program management within mission driven organizations.

TREASURER

Dr. Bloomfield is a professor of computer science and Chair-Elect of the Faculty Senate for the University of Virginia. In his free time, he enjoys running, playing board games, and being outdoors.

SECRETARY

Dr. Oetgen is a clinical psychiatrist for the the Department of Veterans Affairs. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia and the Georgetown University School of Medicine.
